Difference between wireless router and wireless access point

i want wirless netwrokingwithin 100 meters what i use access point or wireless router

it depends upon what you have for wan connection.
if your already have route for your adsl connection then you can go with access pionts..

or you will go with wireless route in you need routing & firewall etc..
