Disable 'unread messages' @ Welcome Screen ????

I know that there is a tweak that can be done to the reg, but I can't remember what it it. Anyone know off hand?

I have a bit of a bug that is almost the opposite of yours and but may just help...

I have more than one email address that I use but only one of them is checked by MS messenger. It tells me when I recieve email but if I want to know about incoming email at my other addresses I have to actually have the email program running.

Dunno, plug in a bunk email address.

You can also switch to a domain (doesn't have to actually exist) instead of a workgroup and you'll get the traditional ctrl-alt-delete screen instead of the welcome screen.
 
you can also change the type of logon screen from control panel/useraccounts /change the way users log on and off.
