Hello, I’ve been having a problem with the wired audio on my computer for about 5 months now, but it’s steadily gotten worse, to the point that the audio is unusable. Under load and occasionally on startup, my headphones pop and in the audio devices menu the connected headphones connect and disconnect repeatedly until eventually disconnecting entirely. It also seems to cause a lot of freezing lag. I have made no new installations and never had any trouble in the past. I feel like I’ve tried everything so please help

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Audio equipment:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Have you tried manually uninstalling your audio drivers and reinstalling in an elevate command? Have you also checked to see if reinstalling your chipset drivers in an elevated command helps?
