[SOLVED] Do I need to plugin my fan Argb bank into an Argb header in my motherboard?

Hello,
Just wondering if I need to plugin my Argb fan bank into a Argb port in my motherboard? Will my fans still be rgb if i dont plug them into the motherboard Argb port?
Fans: Antec (Prizm 120 ARGB 3+2+C) 3x RGB PWM FAN, 2 x LED Strip, and 1x RGB Fan Controller

u must plug fans in rgb port

ARGB = 5v
RGB = 12v

Plug ARGB into an ARGB header = works!
Plug ARGB into a RGB header = RIP LEDs.

Plug RGB into a RGB header = works!
Plug RGB into an ARGB header = nothing happens, because it's not getting enough power.

Yes, you must plug them into the correct mobo port. That port provides BOTH power for the lights and control of their patterns. Not plugged in = no display at all.
