Does my Printer "Brother mfc-7860dw" NOT have a USB 2.0 female port?

Hello,

My printer model is "Brother MFC-7860DW" and I recently bought a 6-feet USB2.0 to USB2.0 male to male cable to try to connect my PC to this printer.

Does this printer NOT have a USB2.0 female port so i connect my 6-feet USB2.0 cable?

"USB cable
• It is recommended to use a USB 2.0 cable (Type A/B) that is no longer than 2 metres.
• DO NOT connect the interface cable at this time. Connecting the interface cable is done during the MFL-Pro
installation process"

Have you looked at the actual ports on the back?

The manual says USB2.0 *Type A/B* which is the squarish one (Not the USB2.0 rectangular one)

My 6-feet USB2.0 to USB2.0 cable end is both rectangle (not square Type A/B)

Did i buy the wrong cable?

You presumably have the printer in front of you.
Does your cable match the port?

No, my rectangle USB2.0 male does not match the port in the back of the printer.
