Hello
So i just got finished building my system:
I5-12600KF
Asus rog strix 3080 12 GB oc edition
Asus rog strix z690-f
16 GB Kingston fury DDR5 5200 MHz
1 tb t-force carder zero
Evga supernova 850 GT - Gold
Os: Windows 11 latest version.
Monitor: 1080p 144hz

Now the problem. When playing games, every 10-20 seconds the fps drops about 20 fps lasting about 1 second the it jumps back up. It is noticable in the game as it causes lag, and stuttering.
So far i have tried playing Battlefield V and satisfactory.

I can't figure out what can cause the problem. But then I read that the gpu is very power hungry, and I was thinking maybe my psu can't keep up?

The gpu draws power from 3 separate pcie cables, no daisychain.

All my drivers Are up to date, and the bios on the mobo is updated to the latest version as well.

Gpu temp is around 58-70 in games.
Cpu is around 65-70.

Thanks in advance

No, a PSU does not cause frame drops. If the PSU can't keep it up it would shut down.
What are the RAM settings in the BIOS. XMP enabled?

Thanks for the reply

Okay, glad to hear that was a bit worried.
XMP is enabled, are there any other settings i could check? I looked at cpu-z and ram MHz matches.
