Hello! I am unable to run dual channel on my build even though my motherboard detects both slots and acknowledges that the ram sticks are properly seated in the specified slots.

My build:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.4 GHz
MB: ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 P2. 30
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Lpx DDR4 2x8GB 2133 MHz

Any help is very much appreciated :)

Solution
I've seen where unmatched sticks can cause this.
You could also try swapping the sticks.
I've even seen where a cooler that was too tight caused this.
You could also run CPUz and see what CPUz says.
Also....if the RAM isn't on the QVL list for the MB it may cause it not to run in dual channel.

How do you know you aren't running in dual channel?

Thanks for the reply!

It says on the BIOS main menu

Thanks you so much! All I had to do was swap the sticks around. Appreciate it.

I can't believe I overthought it that much!
