[SOLVED] Dual monitoring problem

Hello i want to connect a second monitor but gpu RTX2080 ,my CPU ryzen 2700x doesn't have integrated graphics.
The second monitor is an old one and has only vga port but i have a vga to hdmi cable adapter the problem is i dont have a second hdmi nor vga port on my GPU
Is there a way to connect a second monitor to my gpu?

You need a USB to VGA or USB to HDMI. Your current monitor is VGA only but if you plan a future purcahsee for one with HDMI then get that adapter. Just do an internet search for whichever adapter - lots of them available.

You then set up the dual display settings in your OS.

Make sure you get an active adaptor, since VGA is analogue and all your outputs are digital only.

Thank you for the help,i went to the store and a clerk suggested me a displayport to hdmi adaptor and it did eventually work out

Yep, DP is absolutely preferable to the USB option. I never looked at the specs for the card to see what ports were available, just went by what you posted.
