DVD +r -R =RW -RW wont write!

after upgrading to win XP Pro w/SP2 my Pioneer DVD RW
DVDR-106D, i cannot write CDs or DVDs. Nero will not let
me do it, nor will windows through the CD writing wizard.
When I "send to" a message appears saying "Error
encountered when trying to copy this file". Any ideas? I
would try and update the drivers for it but windows
update wont work either-Error number: 0x8007045A. Any
ideas? Any help would be v much appreciated! Thanx

First, uninstall the drive from Device Manager (Start-Run-devmgmt.msc)
and reboot. Then try updating the chipset (motherboard) drivers. Also,
you can try reinstalling Nero or any suggestions here:
