Question DVI artifacting weird colors

This morning I woke up and turned my PC on... To my surprise, my monitor was displaying this weird color lines... basically mimicked artifacting... I thought that it was my GPU but when my foot accidentally hit my table, everything returned to normal. I then got the idea that it might be a connection issue. I checked out my DVI port on my monitor and sure enough the pins to the DVI cable were not screwed in ( I forgot recently when doing some work)... Screwed them back in to secure the connection and everything works fine. I just never thought that that would create that issue. Has anyone else dealt with something similar to what happened to me?

Bad contact can do that. This is normal.
