Question Ethernet-"No internet" or "unidentified network"

My PC has recently been disconnecting every 3 hours or so from the ethernet. It either shows the message "No internet" or "unidentified network" . I have tried multiple cables and reinstalled the drivers. I am really unsure on what to do?

I cant seem to find any issues with anything else connected to the internet and it must be a problem on my computer.

Anyone have a solution?

Boot a portable linux OS. If it is a software problem, that will eliminate your Windows install.

You have other devices that don't loose connection at the same time as your PC?

Open a cmd.exe window and run ipconfig.exe /all and post the results.
That gives us some insight into your network config.

You have both WIFI and ethernet connected to your router. I would disable WIFI to start with. Simplify your problem

if your ethernet is connecting and disconnecting continously it's usually a speed negotiation problem . like check if you're speed in windows network properties goes from 1 Gbps to 100 mbps . the soultion is either to use a shorter higher ranking cable like CAT6 or 7 . or use a router with POE power over ethernet . problem solved.

POE has ZERO relevance. His PC is not being powered by POE.
