Explorer.exe - Error 0xfe9ed40f

My computer is not able to run except in safe mode.

When I try to start up normally, I get persistent messages that Explorer has
the error 0xfe9ed40f and is unable to write to memory. ACK

I ran Spybot, Norton, and Hijackthis and have enclosed my log. PLEASE HELP

Something is corrupting your system files. I don't know which installed app that might be. I see nothing I recognize in the
Hijackthis log. I would try a Repair, or Upgrade setup of XP, next.

If you run an XP "Upgrade"setup, from the original, or "Gold" version of the setup CD, and you have SP2 installed, it might go into
a setup loop, and you could lose your install. Uninstall SP2, BEFORE you Upgrade setup from CD (that lacks sp2 on it.)
