Eyefinity help please

Hello there. I have been trying to set up eyefinity over 3 23" monitors and have not had much luck in doing so. Two of the monitors are new Dell S2340M led's. The other is an Acer 233H 23" LCD. I have the Dell's connected via vga-minidiplay port adapters, I have the Acer hooked up via DVI cable (then I tried an HDMI cable). I can get the desktop to stretch across the three screens via eyefinity no problem. Whenever I launch a game I get three screens mirroring each other. I even tried removing the Acer screen and only running the two Dells hoping to achieve a two screen eyefinity but I get two mirrored images again. Is it my connections, problems with eyefinity, too cheap of monitors? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Oh by the way my graphics card is a H.I.S. 7870 ghz edition.
