My computer has a GTX 1060 GPU and an I7-7700k Processor and I have my fans set at a certain speed. (Dragon Center on MSI).
So I set my fan speeds to high and the fans are high in speed so I can play games. However when I start to play games, the fan speeds all of a sudden just decide to start slowing down. Keep in mind, I just make it where's the highest speed and it keeps on going up until I start playing something. When I first play the game, my FPS is high and my temps are relatively low. About 5 - 10 minutes into playing, my fan speeds start to slow down causing my computer temp to rise, which causes my FPS to drop which I am sure is from thermal throttling.
I have done everything to try to get this to not do this, I made sure my power plan was set to performance, my drivers are up to date, I checked to see if there was a setting that caused this and I couldn't find it. I even tried using MSI Afterburner, where I wasn't even able to control my fans whatsoever.
I'd like to get help on this. Thanks!
