[SOLVED] Fan Speeds Slow Down Significantly while Playing Games, Causing FPS Drops and Temp Rise

My computer has a GTX 1060 GPU and an I7-7700k Processor and I have my fans set at a certain speed. (Dragon Center on MSI).

So I set my fan speeds to high and the fans are high in speed so I can play games. However when I start to play games, the fan speeds all of a sudden just decide to start slowing down. Keep in mind, I just make it where's the highest speed and it keeps on going up until I start playing something. When I first play the game, my FPS is high and my temps are relatively low. About 5 - 10 minutes into playing, my fan speeds start to slow down causing my computer temp to rise, which causes my FPS to drop which I am sure is from thermal throttling.

I have done everything to try to get this to not do this, I made sure my power plan was set to performance, my drivers are up to date, I checked to see if there was a setting that caused this and I couldn't find it. I even tried using MSI Afterburner, where I wasn't even able to control my fans whatsoever.

I'd like to get help on this. Thanks!

Solution
Not trying to necro post on here, but i solved the problem by uninstalling then reinstalling dragon center, which controls my fan curves. I dont know why or how, but it fixed it and now i can control my fan curves without it slowing down.

what the cpu/gpu temp?
might need to get the fan clean

Sorry for the late response, but the Temp goes around 20 - 40 degrees when the fans run, then when i start to play a game it rises to about 50 or 60, then thats when for some odd reason the fans just slow down for no reason and my temp goes up to about 80 or 90. Then when I get off the game the fans speed up again. I have already cleaned the fans, and if it were that, it should be slowing down in general, not just when I get on a game or a program. Fans should be speeding up if anything, but i have it on a certain fan speed at all times. So why is it the moment im on a game, that's when my fans slow down and it causes Thermal Throttling and lowers my FPS.
