Hello,
I have recently build my own gaming pc and the cpu fan and the case fans are all too loud. i have tried turning the fans down with msi command center but command center crashes my system sometimes but it went much quieter that way. But now i have deactivated command center due to the crashes and now the fans are still way too loud. I also cant find an option in the bios for fan speed.
I am using:
rx 5700 reference model
ryzen 5 3600
msi b450 tomahawk
1000gb crucial nvme

What do you see?
I was in my bios now and here is what i find on hardware monitor: So i see a list of my fans. first the cpu fan, i can change smart fan control (on/off), the fan type mode, temperature source select and the ste-up/down time. i can see that with every fan. there is written that i have 1 cpu fan, 1 pump??? (i dont know how that got there) and 3 system fans (tho i actually have 4 and no pump). on the fan type i can select: auto detect, dc mode or pwm mode. and then there come: cpu fan fall warning control and cpu temperature warning control, both are disabled and can be changed

I have fixed it and i know what the probkem was. In the compatibility update for b450 bios' the cpu temps werent reading the actualy temperature (it was reading something way higher) so all my fans thought that my cpu is e.g at 100°C and so the fans cranked up. Also in my motherboard i didnt know that i could edit any number on overclocking or hardware monitoring e.g. my first case fan was set to run at 60 (%) and i could just type a number when im on that line.

I facing the same issue with my B450i Strix, how exactly did you fix yours?
