Question Faulty HDD?

I have found my old HDD from 2010 and decided to give it a try. The model is Samsung HD501LJ 500GB (7200 rpm). Unfortunately, I experience stutters in every game I install on this drive. I know its the HDD, because the issue do not persist on my Samsung SSD (which I have my system on btw).

What I have tried so far:
-Formating
-Playing with partitions
-Checking the HDD with HD Tune, during the benchmark the read speed averaged at 65mb/s
-According to CrystalDiskInfo, my HDD is in a good condition

Any ideas guys?

If you're installing games to it, make sure to use the first partition, as it will be physically located at the outer end of the disk, and thus have a greater data transfer rate.

I have created only 1 partition after formatting (and deleting all the previous partitions) the drive.
