I have two XP Home computers sitting side-by-side connected through wired
connections to a DSL/Cable router. Internet access works fine. I want to
be able to share some files between the two computers. I ran the Network
Setup Wizard on each computer, and enabled file-sharing for the folders of
interest. On Computer 1, I can see Computer 2 in
"MyNetworkPlaces/.../Mshome", but there are two problems. Computer 2 cannot
see Computer 1, and Computer 1 cannot access the files on Computer 2; the
error message is that Computer 2 is not accessible since I may not have
access permission. What else is needed to set up file sharing? ZoneAlarm
is running on both computers. Thanks.
