Level 1 (Starting Secondary) : Focused Fighting /Empty
Level 2 : Flashing Steel /Empty
Level 4 : Agile /Empty
Level 6 : Combat Jumping /Empty
Level 8 : Hasten /Empty
Level 10 : Practiced Brawler /Empty
Level 12 : Build Up /Empty
Level 14 : Super Jump /Empty
Level 16 : Swift /Empty
Level 18 : Health /Empty
Level 20 : Stamina /Empty
Level 22 : Dodge /Empty
Level 24 : The Lotus Drops /Empty
Level 26 : Soaring Dragon /Empty
Level 28 : Lucky /Empty
Level 30 : Kick (Fight) /Empty
Level 32 : Tough /Empty
Level 35 : Golden Dragonfly /Empty
Level 38 : Elude /Empty
I just got 39, and finally have perma Hasten, plus a second recharge
in Elude. I haven't tested it yet to see how close I am to
perma-elude, but that's the path I am planning to take.
In my original plans I was going to be taking Focused Senses, Evasion,
Quickness, and Gamblers Cut, though I had not thought out the order.
Now, I'm definately going to drop Gambler's Cut, but I really want to
take Focused Accuracy and Conserve Power from the new Ancillary pool
'Body Mastery. So I have 4 slots left, and 5 powers that I really
would like to get.
Anyway, how good is Conserve power really? Right now, that's my
biggest nagging question thats preventing me from coming to a
decision. Right now, with my 3 biggest end hog attacks slotted with a
single endurance cost reducer, I rarely have major endurance issues.
I do have minor ones, of course, when facing the new bosses, and
Archvillains. But who doesn't?
Another question is how important is it to max defense against normal
ranged attacks at the 40+ level? Because if its not critical, maybe I
can either just fully slot tough and Agile and skip Focused Senses, or
maybe I can simply replace Agile with Focused Senses. Pre-40, I've
been able to get by just fine with just Agile (I'm not saying that I
couldn't have done better with it, its just that I'm thinking of the
tradeoffs here).
As far as what I've been fighting lately, its mostly orange to purple-
con mobs, so imho, my decision to take Focused Accuracy is now set in
stone (well maybe a very soft stone like Gypsum or Pumice. But stone
just the same).
Anyway, I'd also appreciate any insight into how things change in the
40+ zones that may influence my decisions.
