Find a Replacement a Screen on a HP G50-109NR

I need a replacement screen for an HP G50-109NR 6 months out of warranty and the screen is fried. What are my options as far as replacing the screen?

find an online store that sells screens for laptops, open your laptop's screen bezel and check for id/make/model numbers for the screen

find someone on ebay/craigslist with the same laptop that is broken (ie motherboard is fried) and change screens (you would also have some extra spare parts as well)

getting a new laptop and an external enclosure for the current laptop's hard drive to get the data off of it

most laptops aren't worth putting the money into replacing the screen
