Question Flickering Multi-Colored Lines, is my screen dead?

Pretty much as the title says, i have a (AOC 27" 27G2U) Monitor, lately these lines have begun appearing some of the time when i start up my system, they will over the next 10-20 minutes fade out and the screen will go back to normal until restarted; but i feel like the time interval is increasing with each passing day.

Is this monitor just dying and i just have to live with that? It's about 4 years old

when you open the onscreen display of your monitor, are the lines there too? if not, try a different video cable and eventually a different GPU
if it´s shown in the OSD as well, your monitor is faulty

Sure does also appear on the OSD, so i suppose it's time to get a new one, 750 dollars for 4 years still feels kinda insane to me
