So I have this SSD that I reformatted recently and I noticed something that is on that SSD there is a certain folder that has a file with .missing extension on it that will keep coming back after I restart my computer even though I already deleted it.
Oh, and I also tried to reformat it and tried to also put it on my laptop but it also persist
Any idea on how to solve this?

look in bios for something that creates a file outside of the operating system.
for example asus armory create does this. The files come back after each reboot of the system.

Its fun searching for missing file format as you get all the wrong answers

What was ssd in? Your PC? is it a OEM PC or custom?
What make/model ssd?

Just might help narrow search
It's an Adata XPG SX8200 PRO 1TB M.2
I purchased it some time ago and put it on my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52 for some time and it had no issues
The issues just came recently
