This is a mildly interesting discovery. In order to be the objects
of the LOGIN and PASSWORD verbs, the login and password used in
Lurking Horror apparently have to refer to actual objects in the
game. If you refer to these objects with other verbs, you find
they have different internal names. For example, EXAMINE [login]
says, "You see nothing special about the xyzzy.", and EXAMINE
[password] says, "You see nothing special about the plugh."
I just thought someone might like to know.

Dear, the Glorious Infocom don't use Inform, but another, LISP-like language
called ZIL.

Inform was written much later, by the Venerable Graham Nelson in 1993.
