Hey guys, this is my first post here. I am having problems with my first pc built and i was hoping to see if someone here could help me out or give me some answers. So i put everything together, but have one problem. My motherboard (Foxconn A7DA-S 3.0 AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD) reads everything perfectly on boot except the cpu. I get the error Cpu Mismatch every time :( . The Cpu i got is AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma 3.0GH. Is there any way for me to get my motherboard to read the cpu or will i have to send it back to newegg for a refund and buy a different one? Also i'm not sure if i have the latest Bios for the cpu, but i can get back to you guys on that tomorrow. I appreciate any kind of help or feedback.

I used that board until recently. Fill out the foxconn support form and request bios file p08 for that board. This file isn't on their webpage. If the new bios file still won't read your cpu correctly, relax, it won't hurt anything to run it that way. Be careful flashing the bios. Here's some links: http://www.foxconnsupport.com/inquiry.aspx for support, fox Live Update bios utility for use while running windows: http://www.foxconnsupport.com/download.aspx?models=en-us0000444&category=C000000001&series=en-us0000012&keywords=&sort=Utility. Bios file p07 may also work with your cpu, but increases the ram voltage to 1.8 when you set the ram speed manually. That's why I requested the new bios file from foxconn tech support.

If your system will boot into bios look along the bottom for foxconn's version of q-flash. If you have that then all you need to do is put the .rom file on a portable or flash drive and hit the q-flash during boot up and go to the flash drives directory, find the file and install/flash. Just make sure nothing interrupts the installation or it's a brick.
