[SOLVED] FPS lower than normal RTX 2080

So I have a RTX2080 and I normally get around 210-240FPS on siege and about 300FPS on CSGO

However after downloading the new GeForce update, I suddenly get around half of what I used to get 80 on siege and 150 on CS. This was even before I installed the update.

It still didn't fix it after the installation and a restart

What do I do?

PS: I tried playing a game of CS and I'm getting around 40% utilization on my GPU. I'm not sure if this is normal or it's too low. Also already tried going back to the old driver, still didn't fix it

a 2080 will only do those FPS with the BEST hardware available (i.e. 9900k and 3600mhz ram) as that is what benchmark videos usually use. is that what you have? if not then it will probably have lower FPS

I've had this pc for a month and had no issues with FPS, only today my fps were lower than normal

get msi afterburner beta 4.60 and make a better fan curve you can look up how to do it if you want

If it happened after driver update use DDU to remove current driver and install last known working version.
