Question Frametime spikes and stuttering on an AMD setup ?

HI,
i have this amd rig for 2 years now, and ever since i can remember i have a lot of stutters in games. I have tried pretty much everything but to no avail. The one thing that i tried that vastly improved the experience, was to cap my games using blurbusters guide for smooth gameplay( vsync off in game+wait for vsync on always in adrenaline+ freesync on in the driver)


Things to notice:

1. I use capframex with rivatuner to monitor my settings;they run in the background
2. i undervolted my gpu and cpu using pbo2 and co (-30 all cores)
3. i use two separate gpu cables to connect to the psu
4. i use a wireless xbox remote controller to play all the games
5. i am on xmp profile 2 in bios

i am not entirely up to date on the mobo bios version and the chipset drivers; also i am on version 24.5.1 of amd adrenanile software. The temps and everything seem to be more than fine; I don´t know what to do...

Can someone help me with a step by step guide on how to achieve the smoothest gameplay experience possible with my setup?

Hi,
1. Have you updated/uninstalled drivers for the GPU. It may help to uninstall the gpu drivets totally and do a clean install(not update) of the latest gpu drivers.
2. Is each game running on high/maximun graphics settings within the game?
3. Why is the hardware underclocked?
4. Check the percentages/perfomance stats in the Task Manager too.

1.no i haven't, i AM a few versions behind.

2. Yes all are at The maximum settings excepto Witcher 3.

3. Its bit underclocked but undervolted.

4.how do i do that irl while gaming? I never really know how to interpret those status.

Try gaming without Capframex on. I was using it, on my AMD laptop, and noticed I took a huge hit to FPS, when playing with it on.
