[SOLVED] Freezes during games

For some reason when playing War Thunder, my gpu freezes for a few frames every once and a while. I haven't noticed it in CS:GO, and I haven't really spent a lot of time in any other games since I built this new pc.

Lower the settings would be my first suggestion . But seeing as both of these games have low requirements I know for certain there is a bigger issue here .

I really doubt it is the settings. They both run consistently 150-200 fps
Could it be the PSU? Is the 650W PSU in the list inadequate?

Well I used optimal settings according to Geforce Experience, and the freezing has gone away in War Thunder (although my avg. fps went down from 100-150 to 40-60)
