I moved from FS 2000 to FS 2004. Neat stuff, but some things disappointed me

1. In FS2K in Spot plane view one could easily position the viewpoint
anywhere. FS 2004 took that away. Not sure how it looks in 2002 because I
skipped that version. I really miss the ability to move my spot plane
viewpoint anywhere around the plane. That allowed view of the scenery. Is
there a way to get that feature back using some setting or hack?

2. Autopilot: It seems that Autopilot is available for only few planes and
even then one has to use keyboard. I didn't see it in the Aircraft menu.

3. There is no Concord!

V' I'm note sure about the fix for your problem, but let
me say that I have 2004 and the "spot view" does pan
around. Also some of the aircraft have the Auto-pilot on
the bottem of the radio stack. I hope this helps.

Thank you Dave. Can you do variable panning? In my version when I press any
key, there is only one set position for that. For example key 4 shows view
from left. That's all. In FS2000 when I pressed 4 and kept it pressed, I
could choose any angle. That doesn't happen in FS2004 for me.

V,

it was either here in these forums or from the 'learning center' within
fs2004 i read,

when you are in 'spot view', you may change position of view up or down by
pressing shift+enter and shift+backspace.

goodluck!
