Yes, both on a dual socket WORKSTATION mobo. The mobo is a Dell Precision Wrokstation 670. The procs came from a Dell Precision Workstation 450. Upvote 0 Downvote

hundredislandsboy Distinguished Feb 9, 2009 2,503 0 20,860 Feb 10, 2010 #4 That 670 Workstation has the Intel E7525 chipset. Everything I'ver read shows only CPU support for CPUs with 800 mhs bus. Asus is pretty thourough about listing all compatible CPUs for their mobos. On the board they make with that chipset, there are no 533 Xeons. http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpu_support_right_master.aspx?type=1&name=NCT-D&SLanguage=en-us It doesn't mean it's not possible.
