[SOLVED] FX-8350 to i3-10100F

My working PC is a FX-8350 paired with a GTX 1060 and 16GB RAM. I work with 3D applications such as Blender and DAZ Studio. I was wondering if changing my CPU to a i3-10100F would increase my PC's performance and make my work faster.
Is the upgrade worth the money, considering I would have to also replace the MoBo? I will appreciate all insights and recommendations. Cheers!

To make this swap would require a new motherboard, CPU, and memory.

Performance would likely be quite an improvement, overall.

Blender and other similar programs are very CPU heavy, even if using GPU for render.

The 10100f is a big increase in performance from any FX CPU, but it's up to you if it's worth the money.

Probably a 40 to 50% increase, if I was going to spend money I would probably go a bit more and get the 10400.

But yes you would need new processor, motherboard, and memory.
