I'm wondering if the following combination of hardware will have issues working together:
motherboard: ga-x38-dq6
cpu: c2d q6600
ram: 4x1gb crucial ballistix ddr2-1066
video: 8800gtx

I don't see any reason why they shouldn't. Are you planning on running a 64-bit OS so you can use all of that memory?

Can you get that motherboard yet? After doing a quick (not very thorough) search I couldn't find it for sale. I hope they fix the overclockability before it hits shelves.

I have the tracers, 4 GIGS, on the P35 DQ. The lights keep me up at night. Once you experience the red yellow green, you can't go back to plain old black. Vista 64 doesn't come close to RAM 3 or 4 (gigs) according to the lights and the RPM gauge. Maxed out, the gauge says 24%.
