Geforce TITAN vs GTX 690

Ok, so about a week ago i bought a new PC that had the GTX 690 as its graphics card and now Nvidia announced the Geforce Titan...

According to these benchmarks : http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-titan/performance.

it's not that much powerful than the 690 but i'm not really sure.

So,should i return my desktop and wait for the Titan to come to stores or is the 690 good?

Yes 690 runs Sli and yes Sli dos have some problems. Though It's only getting better and better.
Also with nivida inspector theres thousends of gaming profiles that betters/ solves Sli issues.

Agreed a 780 over a 690 and probably a Titan over a 690 no reason to pick up a 690 when 1. its a underclocked sli version of the 680 2. it doesn't have 4 gigabytes of effective memory it has 2 GB 3. It's a SLi card on one PCB so you run into stuttering issues with more then one card AMD/Nvidia it doesn't matter 2 cards doesn't always =stability.

i would have gone with two 680's in SLI, won't be able to beat that with a 690 or a Titan, but you might be able to beat it with 3 x GTX 660Ti's...

Please tell me you're not a complete idiot and you're just joking. A 690 has two 680 gpus on one card, which means no major performance loss from the SLI bottleneck. One GTX Titan can out perform a 690 in several ways but not all. Please research shit before talking.

You sure about that cupcake? Call me all the names you want lover, but the fact remains is:

SLi 680 > 690 > Titan
