Installed card and latest driver,everything is awesome except I can't adjust my monitor via the controls on the monitor itself.The NiVidia program that appears in display settings only allows for horz & vert adjustments,and my actual display on the monitor is slightly hour glassed which I could correct if the controls worked like they did before the GeForce.
Any Ideas?

No. That is not right and I suspect has nothing to do with your new video card.

You need to find the "pincushion" controll on your monitor or change the frequency.

Kenneth says - the frequency of your monitor should be - optimised. (or is that the refresh rate) hang on let me double check that. yeah - just set the frequency of the refresh rate in the display properties, settings, advanced, monitor. Set to either 75Hz or optimised.
If your screen then goes completly garbled and you can't see anything - take the computer into safe mode and undo your settings there.
