how to gt sound from pc to hdtv using hdmi connection for nvidia9800gt,i am getting the video but no sound on my hdtv

nVidia cards require a use of a separate 2-wire S/PDIF cable for audio-over-hdmi connections.

Here is what a SPIFF cable should look like.

Unlike ATI cards nVidia does not have a sound processor on the video card itself.

As stated above, you must connect a nVidia to either a sound card or onboard sound and have pass thru the audio signal to the video card.

I am sure future NVIDIA will fix this issue.
