Hello People of Tom's,

Since Saturday April 6th I have been getting blue screen of deaths including "system Service Exception", "Memory Management", "Critical Structure Corruption" and "Kernel Security Check Failure". These BSOD don't just happen when I turn my PC on but while I'm gaming. While gaming I usually have Discord, Spotify and Twitch open on my left screen and a game on my right screen (games include Fortnite, Hearthstone, Overwatch, R6 Siege). The BSOD's don't pop up right away but after an hour to a couple hours of gaming with the setup above. I am going to post my specs and mini dumps below. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

PS- If im missing stuff or posted wrong please let me know!

My System:
Intel i7-8700k (not overclocked)
ASUS PRIME Z390-A
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 (ROG Strix A8G)
Corsair Vengence 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz C15
1 SunDisk SSD Plus 480GB (Windows Installed on this)
1 Samsung 860 evo 1TB SSD
1 WD 1TB HDD

If you need full specs/items -> https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Dommer_/saved/cMGWD3

Here are the dumps:

Got a couple more since- dumps below:

Comment: The GPU tweaking driver "iomap64.sys" was found on your system. (AI Suite or GPU Tweak 2)

Comment: The overclocking driver "RTCore64.sys" was found on your system. (MSI Afterburner)

Possible Motherboard page: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-Z390-A/
There is a BIOS update available for your system (v. 0905). Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. I can't help you with this. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

Scarlet Crush can cause BSOD, its a known cause,, but these might all by the Nvidia drivers... 2 of the processes that crashed are part of Nvidia drivers - OAwrapper.exe & NVIDIA.Share.E

Perhaps run DDU and either run windows update to use the drivers windows has, or use older drivers from Nvidia and see if it fixes errors

Are you running GPU Tweak 2 and Afterburner?

Not sure bios update would help, new one only enhances security.

Thank you for your responses. I will run DDU and then do a fresh install of the Nvidia drivers and see if that helps. I don't run GPU Tweak 2 but I do run afterburner as my FPS and CPU/GPU temp monitor while gaming.

I ran DDU and did a new nvidia driver installation (without uninstalling Nvidia Experience) and all was good for a while until I played Fortnite later in the day (Played Harthstone and Rainbow 6 Siege with no issues). I got another BSOD, so this time I uninstalled Nvidia Experience and ran DDU. After that I did a clean/fresh install of Nvidia Experience and installed the drivers. I played R6 this morning with no issues but I was not on my PC long enough but I had to go to work. I will update if anything happens.

I was able to run memtest86 with no errors (on 4 passes as it took 3 hours and had to go to bed). I'm fairly sure that it would be fine on 4 more passes but I didn't have time and only had the free version which only allows 4 passes per test. I haven't been able to game to see if I get another BSOD. Like I said before, I will update if anything happens.

I would remove the driver its pointing at then, or update to latest version off Asus website, its under utilities - newest ones from 4th April 2019

and see if you crash again. If you do, run driver verifier again.

ene.sys is seen as a mystery driver but in looking, its part of Asus Aura software to control rgb. so not a concern :)

I think ene.sys was made by Ptolemy Tech Co. according to this page. If you want, right click on the file and choose Properties. Give us any info you can about the file. This is optional... I don't think the file is the problem. It might be located here:
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\ene.sys
If not, search your computer for ene.sys

Normally when I've encountered BSOD it is usually a memory issue. Perhaps try different RAM and see if the same errors still occur.

Also I was having issues with Asus Aura after a long story short, failed windows repair attempt (got a bsod while doing that before my latest bsod post.) After that I was getting the "can't open asio.sys (2)" so i followed the rules you posted here:https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/cannot-open-asio-sys-1-error.3116797/ but now i get this error instead.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/117BXqFW6Eafq6_tzIYBmFLuloAuPh7qp/view?usp=sharing

not sure what to do now with Aura. I will push my computer during the week to see if I still get BSOD and report back.

I found a reference to it on a German site I had to let google translate identify and it was said to be an Asus program on there. I had seen ASio.sys on system already so knew it was one.

admittedly there are only 2 references but both do have Asus motherboards, could be the lack of links that made bleeping think it was malware?

@Colif On a side note if I were to just blow it up (reinstall/repair Windows 10) completely would that fix all of my issues i'm having? I have all important files backed up on an external HDD. So the only issue is the time it would take to move all the files back over, which too be honest is way better than getting BSOD and having ASUS issues.

it could, if the errors are just drivers, a fresh start should load new drivers. Aura should work too.

I might just try that tonight. I'm tired of minor fixes and we'll see what happens. I think the Asus drivers and apps are all sorts of messed up so im probably going to just take a redo. Should i clear out all of my drives or just the windows drive?

@Colif @gardenman The good news is the Asus Utilities are working, the bad news is I got a BSOD. I was testing the waters and I had spotify, web browser and discord open on my side screen while I was playing Rainbow 6 Siege. After about an hour and a half I got the BSOD. It was "System Thread Exception not Handled" and I have the mini dump file below. Sigh..... Could it be my GPU? or is it probably a driver?
