That's what Charlie claimed a few days ago, anyhow. Even if that's incorrect, I'm inherently suspect of benchmarking that's done on a demo version of a game until comparable performance is demonstrated on the full version. The staggering leap in performance of the GTX 480 over the 5xxx cards compared to the other tests makes me more than a little suspicious.

Reviews from a source I trust inbound in (hopefully) not much more than 40 minutes! :bounce:

Quick question if may drift off topic but

If I get the Vapor X 5870, for the cooling (reported 15-20 drop in temps from reference cards), can I use a different OCing utility, rather than the ATi tweak tool that comes with it?

From the review I read on Hexus, the ATi tool doesn't allow for much OCing, but my temps would.

If I could download some good OC utility, what are some good ones?

Uh, You better of either buying Liquid, or just stixcking to refernce.

Vapor-X=Ripoff right now.

But fi you wanted hard core cooling, MSI afterburner is the program for you.

LoL It may need some Lubricant (Dont get it the wrong way lol)

lol? I think they need new drivers, 480SLI=5970.
How come the 480 is only 10 fps more than the 5870 in Tesslation Heaven confused.

I'll think about it, and by the way when you say rip off, isn't it only like £20~ more?
