Whats the overall price on it and what are you planning on using it for? Its a solid build but the 2600K may be excessive, if nothing you do can use more than 4 cores the 2500K will do just fine.

ended up being $1590 it will be used for gaming, video and photo editing. I was thinking that the 2600k may be to much but i figure if i ever do end up needing the extra cores at least i will have them.

I'm sure the i5-2500k is more than enough and yuo should consider building your own computer. It's a great experience and you save money

yeah i am think of switching to the i7 2500k after some more research. I was thinking about building my own but i have no clue where to start so i figured just get a pre built and do my own upgrades over time and then next time in a couple of years do the whole build my self so by then i will understand how it is all put together because this is my first computer not made by a "big computer" company such as hp or dell
