Hello, I am going to be building my first pc soon and I was wondering if the parts that I have in mind are good for playing games smoothly at 720p (That is the max resolution my tv can handle). I will be playing games like Skyrim, Borderlands, Sleeping Dogs, etc.

Here are the specs:

CPU: Intel i5 3470 LGA 1155

Motherboard: MSI ZH77A-G43 LGA 1155

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 1GB

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600

PSU: Seasonic M12II 620w 80 Plus Certified (Modular)

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200 RPM, SATA III, 64 MB Cache

you will be able to play most any game at high or ultra settings at 1080p never mind 720. and still get 30+ fps. so yeas it will play at 720 with no issues...toy may find that your tv limits your fps to 30 as most tv's work at 24-30hz for pal regions.

get yourself a cheap 1080p 24 inch monitor, you can pick up an acer or AOC 1 for 100-120. well worth it...
