Another thing to keep in mind though is the bureacracy. Red tape tends to slow such measures down to a halt to the point where it is pointless once it gets going.

most of those approval rating are due to Reps bad-talk about him. Rather than disagree with him, they rather put a bad name to the president.

If you argue with me on that, you are truly ignorant. Heck, even the Dems put a bad label on Bush,( but he kinda let himself go a little.)

Dislike is widespread. Obama has the far left loonies supporting him period. He will never get the swing vote He got two and half years ago. He's out in Nov. 2012.

The approval rating has nothing to do with republicans talking bad about Obama. The sick ratings reflect his poor judgemnt and lack of rectitude as well as his elitist, rubbish policy making both home and abroad. It is you who is ignorant and needs to take a reading comprehension class. The Rasmussen poll is the most accurate poll in the nation.

Obama Job Approval at 41%, Tying His Low

http://www.gallup.com/poll/147140/Obama-Job-Approval-Tying-Low.aspx

Breaking news: Republican bad talk about Obama is the cause for the low approval rating. It's talk like this that caused the rating thing to be so gloomy.

I see Barack Obama as a naive untested wealth-spreading terrorist-befriending ultraliberal socialist communist who will suddenly reveal his secret Muslim identity by riding to the 2012 election trail on a camel shouting ”Death to Israel!” (I mean Obama will be shouting this, not the camel) and continuing to wreck the economy by sending Joe the Plumber to Guantánamo and taxing away all the income of anybody who makes over $112.75 per week and giving it to bloated government agencies that will deliberately set it on fire.

I do not see why we are arguing over this.

Here is the deal:

We need the average American person who know what the h&^$ they are talking about and doing. We do not need lawyers and business guys telling us what to do...we know what we should do...take back America.

Well, I'm trying to get back to Trump. His mother and my mother are both mothers and we hit it off pretty well first time we met. Let's just say were tight. Tight. He would be willing to share his women with me. Let me pen you in the after business hours slot on the appointment book. You,Donald and I and the girls can discuss the new idea you told me about with the pen you invented that writes under whipped cream. I think he owns a little factory with a couple of employees that makes that kind of stuff.

He needs to get some new phones around that little businees office of his. He doesn't answer. Don's been sunning out by the pool all day and hasn't showed up at the plant.

Punctuality is an intereral part my vocabulary when lady love beckons. Also anytime I think about reasons not to be late. Rejoice in your youth. Let the power of the flower guide you. Be sure and leave a note to your parents you got a job in politics. Don't let them know badge has given you a job and you have an important meeting with destiny. Yeah she's hot DUH.

We can only hope...

However the Republicans or TeaParty needs a strong candidate to stand against him. Currently I don't see anybody who is a shoo-in for them - certainly not Palin or Romney or (gawd forbid) the Donald..

Sorta wish Jeb Bush would reconsider - geez wouldn't that ignite the left-wing knee-jerk liberals - another Bush in the White House 😀...

Exactly, He pussed out on conservative principles. I love John McCain. He is one of my important heroes in life. But I never really liked him as president. Obama's election campaign spent $750 million in 2008. Expected to spend $1 Billion on the 2012 campaign which Obama officially kicked off last week LOL. The guy is giving relection speeches 2 1/2 year into his time. How Obama and Dems will not be bogged down on the defense of their party's complete failure is not going to happen. Besides all the top Dem leaders are particularily ugly. And none of them make any sense when their mouth opens. Except Bill. Barry is out in 2012. As we speak Obama is trying to find middle ground after getting clobbered last November. As his pathetic legacy dictates thus far, another FAIL due to his poor judgemt and lack of rectitude. Trying to hide his elitist rubbish policy making ideas and move to the center is more difficult than He expected.

He has to get lucky and get something right before He leaves. Whatever it is, it sure will not have anything to do with his health care plan, budget, Afghanistan, Lybia or anything else already on the table He has dealt with.

Obama does not understand reduced spending and cuts not raising taxes is the answer. If you read and think about the fast approaching primary season and next year's election issues, the republican party will do great in 2012. Dems will be on the defensive and try to save their political lives is what the topic of the day will be. Obama looks very weak in 2012. The party's negative spew will not take them so far next year after another 19 months of Obama's rubbish.

We could reduce military spending and support domestic approaches, but then, we would loose out on military action around the world.

what I heard was that 750 Billion was spent on the military 2011 and 325 Billion was spent on the public itself. That was 1.075 Trillion for 2011.

So, if we cut the Military to 450 and keep the public at 400, that would be 950 Billion. About a 475 Billion dollar departure. that is bout 1000x greater than what congress passed this last week.

Interesting debate that can be summed up simply. The Left and Right blame each other while the rest of us suffer for their reelection bids. Here's an idea--let's realize we're all in the same boat ride and equally screwed regardless of who-did-what-when-and-how-Colonel-Mustard-In-The-Observatory-With-A-Lead-Pipe.

Argue, guys and gals, all you want. It proves a point that people are so entrenched regardless of common sense that they'd rather run this country into the ground than solve the issues that would force them to admit some sort of blame and dash their perceived party idealism that doesn't exist in the first place.

Mr. Right and Mrs. Left are standing in a burning house with a very wide open front door for them to escape, but are too worried about arguing like a disgruntled married couple if they should save the silverware or a magazine collection to settle their differences and escape. I swear if people only had the sense and wisdom of the lowliest, humble animals we'd all be better off. Even a rat knows when to stop trying to get to the cheese to save its own ass.

i just got an idea. I want the Dems to post 10 things they would do as president, the Reps to post what they would do as president, and the Indy's to post what they would do as president. Then we will all 'vote' on a compromise and sign a majority to see what we can do and show the US we can work together without the need of bureaucracy.

I have done some research. Our allies have jumped ship from us many times,( with the exception of WWII).

You can claim we will be the only ones. Remember, we still have the largest army in the whole UN.

How will we then support our people. We do not have the money to beef up our Military. We don't have the money to support our public school system.

I think you need to go back to your 'No Spin Zone', with your buddies at FOX.

In reality, we were always hated. No matter what we do we will allays be hated. If we beef up our military, it will look bad to everyone.

What needs to be done is a better Foreign relationship with our allies...starting with the British. They are hating us over this whole dam thing.

We need to be more domestic in our approaches. That means support our economy, so we CAN support our military.
