GPU Advice needed for new build

Hey guys Im buying a gaming computer within probably 6-8 weeks. I need advice on which graphics card to buy. The game I am mainly playing is League of Legends (LoL) and I need a card to max out the settings and achive a stable 60fps even during large team fights. I have hear this game is not very demanding for graphics so what do you guys recommend that wont give me frame drops during team fights. Right now I play on a crappy old laptop that I get about 35fps on all low settings.

Yes I am building a totally new computer. I dont know my exact budget yet. But probably somewhere around $800 canadian which is about the same in US dollars. I want to try and keep it as low as possible but be able to play LoL on maxed settings at 60fps without frame drops during large team fights. by 550 do you mean the old fermi one, like the gtx 550? I would prefer a newer card as it will not be outdated as fast.
