So a few days ago, out of the blue my GPU began to make a buzzing sound whenever the computer was on. I have a GTX 1060 that is at this point only two or so years old so I don't think this is an issue of gradual wear and tear.
It may be something rattling or it may be the fan itself. So a few days ago, out of the blue my GPU began to make a buzzing sound whenever the computer was on. I have a GTX 1060 that is at this point only two or so years old so I don't think this is an issue of gradual wear and tear.

So what would be the way to solve the GPU fan motor buzzing? It may be something rattling or it may be the fan itself.
You might be able to find the rattle (if it's rattling) by putting a "little" pressure one things to see if you can get it to stop.
If you don't think it's a rattle....then it's probably the fan/motor itself.
...and just because it's only two years old doesn't mean much.
Fans are made cheap.
It wouldn't be unusual to get a bad one or one that fails early.
If it's the actual motor/fan i would replace it.So what would be the way to solve the GPU fan motor buzzing?
