Hello guys,

For about 3 or 4 months now I've been getting an issue with my PC.

The problem is, when I'm gaming, usually with 140+fps at least the games I play, out of nowhere I get a sudden FPS drop and the game stops for about half a second.

I have a log file done with HWinfo where the issue happens in the last 5 seconds or so, and it seems that the GPU loses power and subsequently the clock goes down and that might be what's causing my problems.
The log will be attached for anyone who wants to review it since I don't understand it very well.

I've done countless tests, tried a lot of stuff, sent my GPU to warranty to see if they could find any issues with it, and bought a new PSU and new CPU cooler.
Also tried disabling XMP, tried only 1 stick at a time, didn't fix my problem, did a run with MemoryTest86 for each stick and both together, no issues there.
Every component is still under warranty apart from the motherboard, could the motherboard be causing my problems?

My PC specs are:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D
GPU: AMD Radeon 6800 XT
motherboard: MSI Mortar B550M Wifi
PSU: Corsair Rm1000X Shift
SSD: WD Sn850X
RAM: Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 3200mhz 2x16Gb
CPU cooler: Artic Liquid Freezer III 360

I don't know what else to do and this is getting a bit frustrating.

Thanks, everyone

Definitely update to the latest bios.
Update Chipset Driver and any others to the latest.
Update GPU driver.
I will update the BIOS as soon as I get home.
As for the other drivers, everything is already updated, tried DDU, did windows reinstall, and even tried to offline install the drivers to make sure there wasn't something causing my issue.

Are soo many users here , nobody had this issue and find the fix???Most of users after they fix the issues , they don't tell how solve it. :)
I might have fixed it, at least for me.
I had to change both my ram modules, since they where under warranty it was easy.
If I used 1 alone at a time the problem would persist, even when used with other modules I had, it would still fail. With the 2 new modules, it is going as good as can be expected until now.

I had 16 gb of Corsair Vengence 2x8, i brought another 2 same sticks of RAM, that didn't fix the random stutter and GPU power loss, that was few weaks ago.I tried all combination of memory in slots, dind't fix it.What i you tell you now will be pretty strange.I test GPU in other PC , GPU don't have stat periodic freeze for 1 second. After months of searching the fix, i didn't belive too much in this test , but i tried. When i brought the rx6700xt , i brought a new HDMI cable, pretty long, about 4 meters :)) since i installed i had that freezez, i try with old other cable , and no freezez ! WOW! People on forums don't belive a HDMI cable can do stutters or freezez in games, but he CAN! I think is a defective one, and i think is about sound connection , cause many stutters happens when a sound is render. I am not 100% sure , but i didn't have that kind of freezez, was other small freezez from game optimizations on some of them. I try to help other users with the problem. Sorry for my english, i try my best:). I will come back after more tests to be sure if for me that was the problem.I am glad to hear is going good with your problem, i hope that are issues for both and also with this , help other ones. Good thoughts to all. :)
