Hey guys,

I'm upgrading my PC, since it's almost 3 years old. I want a new graphics card and a new processor as well to support it.

My motherboard is an ASUS B150 PRO GAMING/AURA DDR4 LGA 1151 CHIPSET INTEL B150, my power supply is a 600W Corsair bronze plus.

I'm from Brazil and there is a website in sale, I found these options:

Processador:

https://www.kabum.com.br/cgi-local/site/produtos/descricao_ofertas.cgi?codigo=99683

My questions:

  • Do these processors and graphic cards fit in my motherboard?
  • Are 600W enough for these?
  • Do I really need a 9th gen processor to handle the graphic card or can I get something cheaper? If so, which would you recommend?
  • Among these graphic cards, which has the best cost-benefit ratio?
  • Is it easy to plug these in my PC by myself? I've never done it.
  • Will these components heat so much that I will need more coolers ? I have 2 + the coolers from each component. My bedroom is not so well refrigerated and my PC is on a corner, that is, it already heats quite a bit. And, well, I live in a tropical country, so...LOL

I'd like to spend at most R$ 1200 each (same currency as in the links I sent), totalyzing R$ 2400, R$ 1500 each only it it's really really worth it. If it's possible to spend as much as R$ 1000, 1100 each, it would be the best scenario.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help

  • Processor: i5 6600 3.3 GHz (quadcore)
  • Graphics card: GTX 970 EVGA 4GB OC
  • RAM: 8x2 GB HyperX
  • Mobo: ASUS B150 PRO GAMING/AURA DDR4 LGA 1151 CHIPSET INTEL B150
  • Power: Corsair 600W Bronze Plus

These are my specifications, I'd like to update the graphic card, since some games such as RE2 remake aren't running so smoothly and I know future games will demand even more from the graphics card.
