Graphics cards again, Question

I just picked up the All in Wonder 9600, no xt though.

Question: I have the sony 19 inch LCD that has three inputs.

1 HD 15
2 HD 15
3 DVI-D

My DVI cable is a wide one like on a LCD TV, the others are like serial ones.
Another thing, my wide one I got with the monitor, would not work on the ATI
9600, it has a lot of pins, but it is square.
The book on the ATI says (optional HDTV/Cables Optional). I did a search
for cables on google, but came up with nothing.
So, I want the best picture I can get, but if I'm right, the serial are VGA
and the only digital would be the one that fits a OTA box or HD TV.

Can you set me straight on this, as my motherboard the ASUS 'AV8' and the AMD
3500 come tommorow, and the assembly start's.

Looking at the specs for the AIW9600 and the AIW9600 Pro on the ATI website it
does NOT say digital connection anywhere.
It says 2 VGA connectors ..........not DVI
a.. Drive 2 VGA monitors or a VGA monitor and TV output simultaneously. Control
independent resolution and refresh rates for any two connected displays.
a.. Drive an HDTV-ready Television using the optional VGA->YPrPb adapter
available from ati.com. Enable a non-interlaced high resolution display in the
family room.

You needed a card with the DVI connection.

I think I made a Mistake, but would the Picture be better with the DVI, as as
the one people say, I'm getting old and my eye's aren't so good anymore.

Maybe take this one back, I'm looking at the nVidia GeForce , but they might
be going out, that's not so good either.
Advice, or sugestions, Please.

Most graphics card makers have detailed spec sheets. Yes,
DVI will give a crisper picture on a DVI capable screen
since each pixel is controlled.

Try a Google search for "DVI graphics cards" and/or check
the ATI and NVIDIA web sites for DVI cards.

My personal experience seems to indicate otherwise. I have a 20" Planar LCD
at work and I see no discernable difference between using the DVI or VGA
output. Common sense would indicate that I would, but I really can't tell.
Then again, I'm only doing office apps , light low-res video, and no games.
Maybe I'm getting old too. . . :-(

Stevie Wonder doesn't care about analog or DVI and Mozart
lost all interest in the stereo, 5.1, and 7.1 audio issue.
