Question Green line on monitors

Hi guys, I have a msi monitor that I use with my ps5, I plugged an old laptop and an green line appeared across the monitor, I tried to fix it but have no luck, I plugged back my ps5 and continue using the monitor for a few weeks with the line in it and it disappeared, then I plugged back the old laptop and it appeared again (I didn’t know that the laptop was the issue). What do you guys think that’s happening and should I take my monitor to a technician to get it fix? (Green line still there)

What is the model for your MSI monitor? Make, model and SKU for your laptop? What OS are you on? If you can get GPU-Z installed on the laptop, see if any fields show up with 0(zero)'s. Open up Device Manager and see if your GPU is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark. If so, does the error show up with Code 43?
