Hey All,
Im building a proaudio workstation , LOADS of ram, asus WS motherboard, im looking at Video cards and want to remain "fanless" to keep the DB's down, my case will have a couple of LOW Rpm fans to provide a decent airflow. Im sticking with NVIDIA as the software im looking into generally recommend NVIDIA and with an expensive setup, i'd prefer to stay on the safe side for future upgrades.
I plan on running only 2 monitors really...MAYBE (big maybe) 3-4 in the far future, I was looking at a simple card, as i want to dedicate all the ram and cpu to audio production.
Was looking at a single GT610 and GT 440 silent as options, only running multiple applications and some light flash games, 2 monitors at 1920x1080 , no extreme gaming.
I assume for triple monitors i would require 2 cards...would 2 GT610's make sense/ be cool enough?? I know you cant SLi them, but it would be good for multiple outputs/extended desktops. and nothing extreme aside from audio software and processing.
ZOTAC has a gt640 zone edition (silent and three monitor support), but the availability on this is N/A, zotac doesnt even know an official release date. And the MDT 210, but a little out of date.
What do you all think?
