Hello Everyone!
Since GW2 became free to play recently I decied to give it a go. After playing for a while, I noticed the game would randomly freeze up. Oddly enough as I minimzed it on the tray and brought it back up it went on without problems only to freeze again after a while. At first I tought it was lagspikes or DCs since I have crappy net, but this wasn't that. I can see inside my case from above and I saw that during the freeze the vga went back to idle because only 1 led indicator was on. I also use HWinfo to monitor temps and stress of various parts, but no overheating whatsoever, and more demandig games like Witcher 3 run without any problems.
My specs: Core i5 4570 @ 3.6 Ghz turbo, 8 gb DDR3 ram, Sapphire R9 280x Tri-x
Thanks in advance for the help!
Update: Last night I played with HWinfo on and when it froze again I checked and one of the CPU cores showed 10 Ghz!!!! sadly I didn't take a screenshot, but now I'm afraid to play at all. So it's safe to say the CPU is the problem...
