I recently bought a 'Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 15ach6 amd ryzen 7 5800h/16gb/512gb ssd/rtx 3050ti/15.6" '. For what I read/saw online, it was possible to add an HDD. Also the laptop came with an HDD tray and screws for it, so I assumed that was the case.
When I opened the laptop here's what I saw:

As you can see, the place where the HDD is supposed to go is already occupied with the default SSD that comes with the laptop. That isn't necessarily a problem cause there's another port to connect SSDs to the right, so logic indicates that it should be possible to relocate the SDD and put the HDD in it's place. But there are indeed 2 problems, in order of increasing importance:
PROBLEM 1: Even after removing the SDD, there remains a coupling nut that interferes with the placing of the HDD.

As you can see, with the nut there the tray kinda fits but not really (the holes on the top don't coincide correctly with the screws). My question here is if it's save to remove the cupling nut. I don't know if it can be remove, and I'm afraid of breaking it while trying.
PROBLEM 2: The default NVME is 2280, seems to be long for the port on the right. It can be connected there, but there's nowhere to screw it (there's a screw but it's 40mm away from the port, while de SSD is 80mm long, as you can see in IMAGE 5).

My question here is, do I necessarily need to buy a 2242 SSD? Or can I connect the 80mm SDD on this port and fix it there someway?
The thing is, if the default SSD has to be in its original place, adding an HDD is impossible, and the only way to increase the storage capacity of the laptop is by buying a 2242 SSD. But that doesn't make a lot of sense to me since the laptop comes with an HDD tray and the screws and the cable to connect the HDD to the motherboard.
What do you think?
PS: I'm not acquaintanced with computer terminology, so I apologize in advance for the mistakes I've probably maken. I hope the post is understandable despite that.
