Question Harddrive or pc?

So thursday and friday i had some issues with my pc, turns out it was my harddrive, but thats not what this is about. Its about my new harddrive because when i first got this pc i bought a new 1tb hdd, but i never used it because i finally figured a way out to get my old hdd out of my old pc, but why im writing this is because i need help. io games on chrome are lagging really bad!! I never had lag before on io games. Is this because its new? Is there a way to fix the lag? Because my chromebook doesnt even lag as much as my pc now! i hope there is someone that can help me.

Pretty confused writing, Did you just add drive or replaced it ? Is and which OS is on it ? Did you newly install OS on it or cloned old drive ?

Im sorry for my english, im not english, but yes, i replaced the old/broken one and the os is windows 10.

Normally, hard drive has no effect on gamne speed and performance. If you installed new windows did you install all drivers too ?
