Is my havendale/clarkdale host bridge Rev. 02 compatible with windows 7 professional 64-bit?
Its because I want to install 8gb ram and if I do, will my computer even be able to use full 8gb ram?

Havendale (iGPU) was cancelled. The Clarkdale e.g. LGA 1156 typically shipped with Windows 7, and it has 64-bit architecture. Most of the LGA 1156 offered 4xDIMM with support up to 4x4GB (16GB) e.g. P55/H55.

oh i forgot to mention that this is for my laptop

A - MOBO = Intel Base Board???
A - CPU = Intel Core i3 350m

Most laptops only offer 2xDIMM or 2x4GB (8GB). If the Notebook came with a 32-bit OS then you MUST do a clean install and have all of the OEM Drivers available and pertinent to the Windows 7 64-bit OS.

Q - What exact laptop? ; I'll look it up and post Crucial RAM selections.

A - Actually I already checked the ram selections and stuff on the crucial site. And yes, my laptop offers only 2x4GB. And the notebook came with 32-bit os. And my laptop is an LG XNote R470. Some specs include:

-Intel Core i3 350m
-NVIDIA GeForce 310M
-2GB RAM A-Data

Q - Because I'm really actually a NOOB with computers, I just want to know how to upgrade to 64-bit OS. May you please help me by telling me how? After alot of searching on the internet, I'm stumped?

And one more thing, if I wanted to replace my current HDD with a SSD, should I do it before or after upgrading to 64-bit OS?

There are several "LG R470" series so you're going to have to be very specific.

As I mentioned, you'll need all the correct Windows 7 drivers and wherever possible the Windows 7 x64 drivers.

Honestly, installing a fresh version of Windows 7 x64 on a Notebook is often very complex. If I had to do it then I would only do it on a customized Flash Drive installation or create a customized DVD -- both with all of the drivers needed and uncompressed just in case you need to (F6) Load a Driver so the Windows installer can work correctly.

Further, keep in mind that I would completely reformat i.e. wipe-clean the HDD's contents. Therefore, BACKUP all Documents, Video, Music, email (PST/OST) files, etc. -- you name it to either a Flash Drive, backup HDD, DVD, etc.

BIOS - if there's a new version then install to the latest BIOS available.

Create a Customized Windows 7 Flash Drive:
1. Create a bootable Flash Drive with OS - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4CdEZPTPzk

2. Download and unzip ALL needed drivers, place in a folder called "DRIVERS_R470" and place all of the drivers uncompressed in the new folder. Chances are you won't need any of them until the installation is complete,but they're there in case the Windows installer requires them. If Windows 7 does then you'll need to manually select the appropriate drivers from the folder DRIVERS_R470.
3. After Widows 7 x64 is finished simply drag and copy DRIVERS_R470 folder to the desktop. Install the Chipset drivers, followed by the LAN, Wireless, etc and install all of the drivers and software. If a driver requests you to reboot then reboot and continue.
4. Install all of your Applications and then restore your ... Documents, Video, Music, email (PST/OST) files, etc.
