First things first CCC is crap for the 7970, it holds clock speeds at 500mhz on auto mode, and rarely moves up.. not sure if this is a known issue, but it sucks.
BTW BIG thanks to the guys who suggested MSI afterburner. After installing it, my clock speed stayed at a constant 925mhz.

Ok so now that is settled I have done some Frappsing!!! Mainly with battlefield 3 (bf3) .
So here is the PC I am testing with
Amd fx-8150 (OC’d 4.2ghz)
Asrock fatality mboard
16gb ddr3 ram (at 1600)
SSD x2 (one for windows, one for games)
Asus HD7970
H100 water cooler
850w Gold corsair psu

When I run Bf3 on single screen (1920x1080) in ultra graphics mode
Average FPS syncs at 60.. and stays there

When I run BF3 on eyefinity with 3 screens (5760x1080)
On ultra I get a constant 25 to 26fps
and on High I get 35 to 40 fps.

Have you tried the new 12.3 drivers released recently with "12.3 now fully supports the AMD Radeon HD 7900, AMD Radeon HD 7800 and AMD Radeon HD 7700 series of products"

I use sapphire Trixx, works well for overclocking and supports voltage modification.

ya i am using 12.3 now. but i still think it will be a few more months b4 we see a significant increase, and now the gtx680 is out.. i think amd will get their asses into gear
